Their Story
Madelyn and Harry met when they attended college at NYU. They had Chemistry together freshman year and were lab partners. Throughout the semester and getting to know each other, they decided to go out on a date to Harriman Sate Park on a Hike. Since that date, they have been dating for four years. They both graduated from NYU and began their careers together. On October 18th, they went to their four year anniversary dinner. On their way home from dinner, they decided to enjoy the fall sunset with a stroll through Central Park. As they were admiring the view from the Bow Bridge, Harry got down on one knee and proposed to Madelyn.
UNIQUE SITUATIONS
Different Religions
Madelyn and Harry do not have similar religious practices. Madelyn is non-religious, while Harry is Christian. In this situation, the couple compromised by having a pastor officiate the wedding but not having the wedding in the church. This way Harry can still have his religion be apart. of his wedding. They also incorporated a bible reading into the ceremony for Harry an dhis family.
Long Term Diasbility
Madelyn is a type one diabetic that needs to have her sugar monitored hourly. She also has an insulin pump that needs to be able to fit in her dress. During alterations, the seamstress added a pocked in the bride's gown to hold her pump. In the emergency wedding pack, some food like granola bars needs to be added incase her sugar going low.
